The range of businesses that apply to our Awards programme varies greatly and some questions may not be applicable to all business types. Currently when evaluating these submissions, I don't believe we can score these questions as 'not applicable' and then the percentage overall score be re-calculated removing the n/a question. Currently the option appears to be to score a zero, which then adversely affects the overall score.
Would this functionality be useful to others - it certainly would for us. Worth considering for an update?
A possible solution, within the feature set of the current system could be to organize your companies into categories and then configure question sets (category groups) that would cover all possible form needs on the submission form, and then enable inline scoring (which should only show questions on the fields that were visible to the user).
This can become unfeasible if there's no way to predict the questions that different groups of companies would have, or if it's impossible to classify companies into groups that would share a set of questions, or if there are so many possible form configurations that it's not reasonable to build.
Thanks Caleb. Unfortunately we are unable to predict as the variables are too many to categorize the businesses into groups. Any chance this could be considered as an update?
